    What is regular pool maintenance?

Regular pool maintenance is a scheduled service where a pool technician visits on a set day to skim, brush and vacuum the pool, empty the baskets, clean the filter as needed and test and balance the water.

In Manningham we recommend weekly visits from November to March, fortnightly in spring and autumn and monthly in winter. Prices are $85 weekly, $95 fortnightly or $105 monthly per visit, with chemicals at cost.

Pool maintenance in Doncaster, Templestowe and Bulleen

Our technicians know these three suburbs street by street. Many homes sit on established blocks with mature gums and big gardens, which is lovely to look at and hard on a pool.

That local knowledge is why our regular service is more effective than a one-size-fits-all clean. We adjust the time spent and the chemical balance to how your pool actually behaves.

    • Doncaster

Older pools on established blocks have rougher surfaces where algae grips harder, so brushing is a big part of every visit. Apartment pools around Doncaster Hill get scheduled care with logs for body corporates.

    • Templestowe

Mature trees along streets that run down to the Yarra and Ruffey Creek mean heavy leaf and bark fall, and shaded pools prone to black spot algae.

    • Bulleen

Homes on the river flats near the Yarra and Koonung Creek see ducks, birds and wind-blown dust, which add bacteria and use up chlorine.

    How regular pool servicing works

Set it up once and we take care of the rest.

    2. First visit at 20% off

We do a full clean and water test, and agree on your service day.

    3. Same day, every visit

Your technician comes on your set day and sends a photo report.

    4. Adjust with the seasons

Move between weekly, fortnightly and monthly whenever you like.

    Regular pool cleaning questions

How much does regular pool cleaning cost in Doncaster, Templestowe and Bulleen?

$85 per visit weekly, $95 fortnightly and $105 monthly. Chemicals are charged at cost and listed on your report, and new customers get 20% off their first visit. There are no call-out fees or hidden costs.

How often should my pool be cleaned?

Weekly from November to March, when heat, swimmers and leaf fall are highest. Fortnightly suits October, April and May, and monthly is usually enough from June to September. Pools under big gum trees may need weekly visits for longer.

Do I need to be home during the service?

No. Most customers give us gate access and we send a photo report to your phone when we finish. We always check the pool gate latches before we leave.

What is the difference between pool cleaning and pool maintenance?

Pool cleaning removes leaves, dirt and algae from the water and surfaces. Pool maintenance also keeps the water chemistry and filter in good condition so problems don’t start. Our regular service covers both on every visit.

Do you service salt water pools?

Yes. We service salt and chlorine pools, including concrete, pebble, fibreglass and vinyl. We check salt levels and clean the salt cell as part of maintenance.

Can you repair my pump or chlorinator?

No. We specialise in cleaning and maintenance only. If we notice a fault we photograph it and note it on your report so you can book a repair specialist.

    Is there a lock-in contract?

No. You can pause over winter, change frequency with the seasons or cancel any time.
